Member: 4021 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 782 | 8210 dead set problem my client brought in a n-8210 complaining that the ear piece is not functioning (couldnt hear anything at all), so we check everything even the earpice itself was ok... so we tried cleaning everything to make sure that the contact is good.... but then after cleaning the sad part is... the phone wont power on.... we didnt touch anything...<br />we checked everything, but it seems that everything was alright. no short, the battery is good the contact is perfect... tried flashing it tx=0, even upgrading and downgrading it sitll tx=0. can anybody suggest or teach me how to fix this damn problem of mine?????!!!!!! thanks a lot guys!!! <FONT COLOR="#ffff00" SIZE="1">[ 07 February 2002 02:20: Message edited by: boogerman ]</font> |

Member: 4021 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 782 | thanks for the help guys but still the phone is dead.... yeah i think i jst have a very bad day.... on that same day we also change the led of 2 6210 unit and lost its signal also but we manage to fix it.... but this 8210 never made it.... so i paid the client by changing board of another 8210.... very unlucky day i think..... check the switch.. reflowed cobba and ccont but still no good guys....!!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> |

Member: 8898 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Solution:<br />1. Try to rehot CCont (Power IC)<br />2. Try to rehot flash IC.<br />3. Try to rehot rom. If still dead, there is CPU problem. P/S: the earphone problem solution is.... rehot Audio IC. |
