Member: 15176 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8210 to slow network I have a lot of skills reparing the Nokias, but I have never met the piece like I have now This Nokia was completely OK since I changed the software from the Eng on my Language software, think it was 5.30 and there was no network, sure I tried to recalculate eeprom on the lock, on emai and also recalc the flash part, but nothing changing, DPS test OK, but serch for networks. Than I changed the MCU on the 5.25 version. And what a surprise, there were networks, but after 4 MINUTES of searching, there are sure the 900 and 1800 BTSes (cells) with excellent signal, the phone is not loosing the signal anymore, but everytime I change SIM card is somewhy searching the netwotk for FIVE minutes. CAN ANYONE HELP. PS: I have a dubt on PA but I'm not sure and don't want to change hagar, AS, Cobba etc. until I'll be sure.. Thanx Shef |

Member: 15176 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8210 slow network I have borrowed the FLS-4 security box, and cause it I finaly found it. So, new skill usefull for everyone - The phone make too much power on hihg cells (200 and up) theese cells are 1800Mhz, this cause that after the phone find just some of the 1800Mhz cells it serches again and agin and after some time it also catches the high networks and it's OK. So in the place where just 900Mhz cells are, there should be this phone absolutely functional. THIS problem cause the Antena switch, that is electricaly destroyed (not mechanicaly). Regards Shef |
