8310 damaged power switch


I have a 8310 that has the "pcb damaged" on the place where should be the pads too solder this switch on.. 1 pad ok other damaged.


Any ideaa where I can wire too to make it work? Left pad is ok

Right pad is connect to the left pad so you can make connection between them directly

I understand but there is NO right pad....


...So I want to make a wire from "where should be right pad too xxxxxx.....

one side to GND,
and others to xxxx,
this xxxx=R301
and it near UPP !

@willy do you have a proper service manual for the 8310 please mate. i am interested in all nokia service manuals.sadly lots of them on the net are to basic.

So your 8310 can power up already ?
did you test what voltage is in R301 when you put battery ?

I have no 8310 service manual. Can you please point me in right direction to obtain 8310 service manual. I need to find R301.

Or alternatively if you can take photo of board and mark r301. i think this would be a great help not only to me but to all members

I have the same problem with a 5210. I've lost the bottom pads on both sides of the power switch. Where should I bridge to? I don't have a service manual.

HI dubundrums

Did you manage to repair the 5210. I too have 5210 with pads missing.

Please can you or WILLY help me. The earth side is Ok the other two pads are missing.

Where on board can I attach a wire.

On 5210, power switch is connected paralell to C342.
C342 is nearest element to PWR switch!
