Member: 81153 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8310 Dead! Please Guide! Today, I have received an 8310, totally dead. It has voltage 3.7 volts at battery connector when charger is applied. I tried to connect it to UFS 3, but when I click on check, it says 1st boot error... Now, I would like help from u people, about how to go about checking this phone....Please....step by step instructions.....not answers like check the service manual...etc, because for my last few questions, I have received such answers. Fact is I really do not know how to follow a service manual.....like when it says check vsin 3.8 v or vcore at c209(example) 3.8 v....I mean, if I connect a 3.6 volt to the board, should I place both ends of the multimeter at c209, or one point at positive of battery and other at c209????? Also, do I need a test jig even to measure voltages, or I can just connect a 3310 battery with jumper wires to +ve and -ve points of the board,,or is it necessary to have a jig for all models. These questions may sound foolish or even stupid, but I do have to start somewhere, and I need ur help! come on people help me start off! This is a sincere request! PLEASE!!!!!! HELP me with this phone.... Regards, Raja3333 |

Member: 71273 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14 | in my experience if UFS 3 says "1ST Boot Error" it can mean your data cable isn't connected to the flash Pads, the secondly it usually your UEM damage cause the first boot for the phones it come from UEM (Universal Energy Management) even the voltages ok the UFS can't respond to your phonesso you should reflow it or reball or change it then you can power up the phone. maybe it can help you. thank's Best Regards Unggul |

Member: 81153 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks people, I will try your suggestions and post the results today....thanks people! Also, on the pads, where the cable connects, there is one pad that has solder marks on it, maybe that is the problem? I will post my results later today... Raja3333 |
