3310 Keypad working madly


Hi i have a 3310 on which when i press menu button it presses * and when press 1 it presses 2 and same fault with all the buttons.i ve changed its keypad ic but still same fault. i also rehoted its flash but not working. plz tell me the solution

that's CPU problem,
try reflow first, if still change CPU.

I presume that you have changed LEDS on this phone ! Am I right ?

This fault when one key is pressed, and another shows up in the display is that when you changed the LEDS, you have shorted out some resistors which is in the keypad interface.

Check very carefully according to service manual the following resistors : R414 and R415, also check V415. One of those is properly shorted with some solder, or maybe it's damaged/cracked missing. Check under miccroscope if you can.

80% cpu problem

but I remember one time, it was soft problems, and flashing was solved, I don't know why, but you don't lose nothing if you try
