Question 8310 powers up when battrey is inserted and wont power off normally

hi mates.

Got this one and am meeting this problem quite frequently now.

I checked the power switch and also for any shorts but there seems no shorts are present.

When the power switch is pressed it is as if nothing is pressed.. To switch it off have to remove battrey. Otherwise the phone works 100% ok.

any ideas or experieces pls?

thanks
al

No all board, put this in a cleaner machine and use good cleaner or a liquid that you have tested for remove oxid from board, make this for 2 or 3 time, and after if problem persist you have to change some chip broken but you have look first what chip are more oxidized. That all.

i ll try it out

however if it is the UEM i l lelave it as it is. Not worth risking it since it works ok as it is except it wont power down.
