8800 no back lcd lights


hi all, have nokia 8800 liquid damage with no back lights. tried new complete lcd still the same. any one any solution on hardware.

8800 no back light

dear u not told that key pad light are on , if they not on , then u should check dc to dc converter , there are light coil is faulty

walikum asslam , happy ramadan , jab
there is ur solution by pic , mostly light IC has damage , but some time light coil damage too ,light coil has 32 turns , u can rewind its if it damage, its consist of dust core and magnet and 32 turn of copper wire , post result any more service for me ,

, so thats not ur prob , ur prob is in the flex , bcoz key pad light is on , but flex not give the volt to LCD of LEDs ,mostly it has damage ,

i have this problem - the keypad lights and you can hear the nokia sound to start the phone but the lcd does not light, how can i change the flex and where can i get the flex cable

Try to repair water damages of your flex. You need microscope and steady
hands. You will see broken links. Try to restore them. B.R.

i have same problem, but my one's flex is good, because i tried with another working 8800, anything works fine, but all ic on borad are sealed, so i think that is display ic problem
