9210 flash chips?

I have one 9210, killed by griffin during flash process.
Tried few griffin boxes, cables, etc, and nothing, i get error 5C:FFFFF(many of these)C1

It erase flash, and stops on ~5% after start flashing MCU. Phone was working before, but it just needed other language than german.

There is no chance to flash it now, (no matter if i use other boxes) so i can assume i have dead flash chip inside. So, please, who can tell me what should i use in this case? What flash should i change, and from which phone i can use it?

There is 3 intel flash chips.

I've tried with diferent tia files, but allways same error message in grifin. I am almost sure this is HW problem, i've reballed one of flashes, but same again.

Flash your phone in safe mode, and your phone will be alive. Common 9210<>Griffin problem.

So, did you read all i've writted ?
Of course i've tried in all modes, with both of my PC-s, with few other boxes, few other cables, and so one.
I need HW solution, i think i must replace one of the flash chips, only problem is which flash chip contain emulated eeprom. Becouse i am not sure how can i write new eeprom.

But didn't see you said you flashed phone in "SAFE" mode !!! I got same error and problem with one 9210i, but for me it worked after may retries !!! I guess Griffin was not so good developed for 9210(i) as you can see if you plug battery from Griffin, you get only 3 bars on battery indicator, and you might not get enough power at writing flash process !!!

Man, of course Griffin isn't developed good, not only for 9210, but for other phones too. There is to many faults with griffin, it's far away from device i've excepted.

Here how it went that 9210i I told you about it. I tryed on PIII at 667 first, phone killed, tryed again and again but same error on flashing. then I move to my next comp, PII at 400, and here after 5 or 6 attempt, it worked. If you indeed have bad flash chip, you'll need to copy eeprom from it with labtool and put it the other flash that you replace with.

You are 100% right brother...Griffin is simply a second class product but i fail to understand why people praise it and the so called "THE BEST IN INDUSTRY SUPPORT"..... moreover i also have a 9210 killed by griffin it simply failed to revive the phone no matter what i try i tested it on 3 different PC (one P-1 233 MHZ second P-II 333 MHz and Celeron 1.2 Ghz) but still nothing ...so i had 2 buy a second hand 9210 from market and replace the PCB and to remind you the 9210 that i killed was a new piece that someone imported from outside my country........ so after all i only find griffin to be a not upto the mark product...thats all moreover queries to griffin always go unanswered...and for almost all teh problem they have a standard reply "Skip Blutooth Flashing" even if the phone does not support BlueTooth....

P.S. i still have the dead 9210 lying in my office Drawer.

i have had 2-3 9210's killed with Griffin........working phones ....customers came to me with certain software corruptions....i flashed them ...and during the process "error"

After that i found that they were giving and error at exactly the same place while writing the MCU.

I also would like to add .....that i have found that ...increasing the voltage of the power supply to the griffin box ....helps sometimes.....i have had 9210 's of late ........giving me erroe after error .....but if i adjust the voltage of the power supply of Griffin it usually helps.

anyway ....@ legija if you want the PCB of a working 9210 ....tell me .....i will send it to you .

Not going to help much I guess, but I flash all the 92 I get with the PC in safe mode and with 9v @1.25amps, never had any problems (PC is p3 1000 356meg ram).
