Member: 8587 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | 9210 taking me for a ride I recived a 9210 which was often restarting and the customer he himself has done the keyboard formatting a couple of times it seems, so I decided to flash the phone and I did through UFS-3. Everything was well for sometime and suddenly the process failed. I tried it even with Griffin but could not able to make it. So as advised by somebody in this forum I interchanged the the two flash ICs which were in the extreme ends (except the one in the centre) and flashed. I was able to flash the phone successfully and the mobile switched on but with "CONTACT SERVICE ". I tried rebuilding the IMEI and things like that and it shows the correct IMEI in the software but the contact service is still there. I believe the eeprom area has to be rewritten to the correct address. Somebody please help me a way out. Thanks in advance for replying. Best regards. |
