Member: 22538 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.67180 Thanks Meter: 2,252 | 900 is better than 1800mhz, earlier providers had 900 mhz only netwrok, but now advanced and move to more clearer and faster 1800mhz network. |

Member: 17330 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | Because of congestion, interference and intermod probs associated with single band @ 900, gsm base stations now use dual bands, one set of frequencies to transmit (could be in 900 band) and another set to receive in the other band (1800) or the other way round. This arrangement has improved capacity, less congestion and better bandwidth to tx and rx better signal quality |
