Always profile HEADSET - GSM-Forum

Hi.

Have problem with Nokia 6210, profiles cannot be activated.
Only profile thats activated is HEADSET profile.
I cannot change profile.

Full flashed and replaced v170 and v171,
anymore ideas ?

May be problem is a short circuit at the connector

Hmmm, not much thats inside connector.
But i tried, even without connector same error.

that V170 and V171 is used for Fbus and Mbus ,,,,
why you need to replace it ?

and phone set on HEADSET, it is might becasue HEADDET actived!

check at R211, R212 to CCONT, COBBA, and MAD PD2 path !

Hi, Willy.

Hmmm, that about V170 i readed in older topics off this forum.
Some guy had same problem like me.
He resolved resolved it by reflowing ??

So not all is right

)

WATER DAMAGED every one I have seen has been liquid damaged,i have tried ultrasonic baths re flowing,reflashing,smahing them up I see 10 3310 a day and 3 6210 a day with the same problem sorry

if your phone was problem from WATER DAMAGED for 6210,,
you have to remove plug connector , and clean all rusty pad!

I got this problem with a 7110 , and it was a short-circuit.
Whith multimeter , check the bottom connector , you'l need
the full pinout (i.e speaker , mic , gnd ...) , you will probaly see a short circuit between a pin & ground ! do this carefully.
I don't think it can be a software problem.

Hi, thanks for reply and sorry for my late reply.
You wont beleieve some strange problems i have with broken phones.

I checked connector for short-circuit and your right pin
Pin 3 and 9 are short-circuit , but not on connector but on mainboard.

Where must i seek this error?
