Anyone have an idea about how to change the frequencies modulation in nokia 6220 ? - GSM-Forum

helo all, i have a project to do and it's subject is on how to change the frequencies modulation for nokia 6220! like the nokia 6220 works in tri-bande and specially in the 900 MHz, the main problem is to make the nokia 6220 works in frequency bands other then 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz, for exemple i wanna let it work in the band 850 MHz or others.
i heared about the PM files and about UFS-3, if u have an idea about this subject please reply me .

If it is an academic project, then it is a hardware solution.
First thing to do is to find the complete Service Manual for this phone with all the schematics and block diagram.
Check the local oscillator input and out put, you may have to change some filters too.
If you search the forum, you will get some ideas where frequency bands have been changed for some phones. Then you can take a cue from there.
