Calculating the PSN - GSM-Forum

Does anyone have a 'calculator' (like an unlock calculator) that can calculate a handsets Production Serial Number (PSN)?

I'm aware of the code *#7760#, but it doesn't work with all Nokia model types.

Ok we are all aware of this code to type into the phone to get the code, but sometimes this doesnt work.
Is there an independant program to calculate this PSN code?
