You can test CCONT if it is working by checking its output voltages to the other systems of the phone, like vcore, vtx, vrx.. etc.

yes i have heard there is a bga tester,i will try to find link and post ,again this machine is very expensive only for people that WHOLESALE bga will buy such machine

its eazy to check ccont,
just check the continuity between c3and e4 of the ccont
if continuity is there ..its working
if there is no continuity ...its a faulty one

Hi,
it is not possible to test the power IC with the mutli - metre
you should know that, the multi - metre can be used for postive and negetive
reading from a circuit and not IC circuits.
please, always know that.

Yes by the use of the multimeter ( in a diodemeter position ) we can only mesure the foreward voltage dropout between 2 points ( +ve or Gnd with the sellected point ) , then we comapre it with the same point in other good knowne chip.
but testing and analysing fuctionality , should be done by a stuff and a software.
