Thank you for your advice, but the problem doesn`t came from soldering ,because i put original cobba end it works. I have change the cobba because ther is no sounds in headfone only digital sounds. Maybe i don`t use the right program for changing cobba id . Pls tell me what program should i use.

Hi,

You said that the phone is in contact service. You can't update
the eeprom or anything at all if your phone is in Contact Service.

You have CS not because you changed Cobba, but because the
chip is not communicating with MAD2 properly. So check whats the
reason for CS and if its CObba releated maybe the new chip
you putting is just faulty. Try another one.

Unhappy 610

Ok, Why if i put the original cobba, the phone works fine , I used the cobba from 5110 because it has the same serial number. I used nk_calk.exe . Did i wrong when i put 5110 cobba?
Why in Dejan program the id of cobba apears 00000

Hi,

This so called CobbaID ( Nokia call it HardwareID) is written in
the IMEI register in Cobba. When the soft request Msid from
the phone the DSP request the CobbaID from Cobba to calculate
the MSID.

The value is retrieved via standart 12 bit data bus, you have 4 bit
address bus ( to select from ADC,DAC and IMEI register) plus read, write, CS and so on.....

So you understand if any of this signal is interupted, DSP will never retrieve the right value from Cobba.

Also the MCU makes start up self tests to check both Cobba interfaces - paralel and serial and if any fails - phone is in Contact
Service.

Hope this helps.
