Deskey DK3 dongle

I've managed to aquire a Deskey DK3 Dongle - anyone know if it's possible to convert it into say a Nokia DK2 or FLS2 dongle? (or any other useful thing) and also where could i get the necessary files/info to try it out?

Each customer of Deskeys have their own serial number in thier dongles, plus they can then have an induvidual serial number for each dongle.

You can buy them direct from Deskey if you want (USB dongles £32 each), but some how I don't think they'll be much use if you are going to try and use them for any thing other than protecting your own software.

ttsunlock - i know about the serials etc. this is a full DK3 demo kit from Deskey including the dongle+programming software etc... Easy enough to use for protecting software - it does all the protection automatically but like I said I was just after more uses for it if it was possible to modify it in anyway - i'm not good with software programming but am ok with hardware mods etc.

Hi,

Do not use DesLock in your protection because is so easy to decrypt.

If you want real protection with DesKey use DK_EncryptionThough only. Encrypt all important constants and comunication parameters on design time and change the seed after every 2-3 instructions.

true is out there:

DK2 dongle can be turned to PKD-1 nokia for wintesla reprograming x25020 eeprom.<br />Tested and working 101%<br />DK3 dongle can be turned to FLS post flash dongle, but unafortunaly I didn´t test it, so..

hi,

offcourse, I will leave the file in my web so eveyone can download, just give a little time.<br />Anyway I think everybody have schemes, those from Saras, regarding PKD-1 and X25020 programer.<br />About DK3 to FLS I haven´t anything but the source it´s trustable.

Yes,I have schemes & hax from Saras,full DK2 demo kit and Original PKD-1,but try to write in DK2 with hax from Saras and original PKD-1 hax on x25020 by programer both no work,can you pls..tall me why?

nice 1. I only ask as I have recieved confirmation from deskey that my dk2 is in the post :-) maybe I should ask them for a dk3 as well <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <br />OK, time for silly questions (PPPPPPLEASE could someone answer these!):<br />what are the differences between FLS and PKD-1 device's - what can the FLS do that the PKD can't (and vice versa). Does the PKD just authorise "who I am" and the FLS do FAID (let me guess, I am barking up the wrong tree?). Finally, the difference between the dk2 and PKD.

I shall be forever gratefull to whom can answer m questions.

what did u tell them to get a dk2 outercore?<br />I asked about it for the obvious pkd1 reason (didn't tell them that though) and got told they were not available as demo anymore - only dk3 as demos - only way they (deskey) said i could get a dk2 is to buy one as an existing customer known to them??????

dunno????? <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> They didn't tell me n e of that! just sent 'em a mail saying I'd seen their site and they'd been recommended by ppl, would like one for my personal projects for protecting sw I write. explained I was not a registered business as I work 4 IT company. got confirmation after I told 'em they had a bad link on the end-of-query form (deskey.co.uk instead of des.co.uk)

Outercore - I can e-mail you the info I have for making a pkd-1 from a DK2 - if you need it drop me a line with an e-mail address and i'll send it ya - it's only a smallish zip file (55kb)
