Disappearing service manuals - GSM-Forum

Hello Friends,

Some sites which had an extremely good collection of service manuals, have gone offline!!!

I cant access sites like...

also

Landys website, etc

Whats happening?

Or is my ISP blocking these sites!

This is because theres more and more people who wants manuals, Just look at the member number on this forum alone !

In old days many folks hosted manuals, since there was not really implementet any kind of bandwidth limits. Today this is another story. You pay for bandwidth used, just imagine one Nokia Service manual for new series is around 10 MB, and then count how many will download this ? 100 ? 10.000 ? you do the math on this.

So these those manuals are mostly on member sites only !
