Ear Phone Socket of Nokia 6630 - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have NOKIA 6630. I have a problem with Ear Phone socket. I think my earphone socket is not working. can any one help to how to check it as when I connect my earphone, It is no more recongnize and after few tries it connects it but sound output comes only on left ear not in right.

Please help me if possable at any of your end.

have the same probleme with the headphone logo on screan I try to rehot the ic up of the pop port but no result please any one help !!

check this components mate, try to trace line first, it maybe broken or open circuit.
reheat these three components or replace R2006.

Headset ICON appear on screen cause by leak capacitors or shorted, reheat capacitors around the tree components or replace capacitors. pls see attachment.
