Member: 1017374 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2,596 |  To check shorting in any kind of phone I connect dc 3.7 volts power to battery connector and check with my lips a very good heat sensor,where is heating there is short,but i will tell you that in a 3120c water damaged was heating avilma & consumed battery i was very confused,in the end i found vana was shorting,the cause was fm radio ic i replaced & problem solved. |

Member: 1142516 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Nokia 5800 short N5800 is water damaged. When connected to external dc power the reading shows at 9 but when phones power switch is presses the reading increases to 12-13. Nothing on PCB is getting hot. ANY SOLUTION plz....  Thanks in Advance. |

Member: 1142516 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Nokia 5800 short I checked with lips too but seems nothing. So please tell me on which component I should focus. I even removed C2071 near battery connector (big yellow one) but still the same situation. |
