freezing 8250

8250 hanging after contact service usually hangs and it is caused by unsoldered cpu. u can verify this by putting a data cable with screws that will press the cpu down, the phone won't freeze then. my problem is how to resolder this cpu, is it really underfilled? can i heat it on the other side for it to resolder?
thanks

Re: freezing 8250

Eurek8888,

Good ,,

it is real problem reason 8250 hung , because pad for CPU become rusty !

if you remove CPU, and clean epoxy , then you can see it rusty at
L1, M1, N1 pin, or N7 N8 N9,,,,,,

no others way. only remove CPU, and clean rusty , then put new CPU , that's it

Willy is right usually CPU or Flash is not good connected to pcb.
Sometime we can solve this Hang 82 series with ADD some Hard Foam between CPU or Flash IC and Housing...
Let the Housing or CPU push the FOAM...if not hang again....hurry up sell it to someone hehehehe...
Coz usually its only can use 1 or few week...after that it will Hang Again....
This Solution is just for CPU or Flash with GLUE...if without glue...just Change it...
