Hi Guys i saw on several sites the GSM Spy phone and i wonder how to make one by my own.

I think it is software only!

When call is incoming from specific number this phone connects call, but doesn't ring, doesn't turn lights and display shows standby screen.

So, if anybody have this "spy" phone it would be nice to read full flash from it and upload it somewhere

Or maybe NOT - this could lead to "mass production" of spy phones and ....... lets just say that it woldn't be nice

Hello

I bought an 8210 Spy phone

this is how it works

1) you can use it as a normal phone
2) you can use it as spy phone

when you want to switch on Spy mode you press a specified code in phone

when phone goes in Spy Mode

a) phone lighst switches off
b) ringing switches off
c) special microphone inside phone is activated

you can call the spy phone from any number , i have not seen any feature in wich you can only call from a specified number

i have not opend the phone to see what changes are made , i dont intend to open the phone

but i think it is some modification in board + software is modified

can you please check the sw version with sim card in phone:
*#0000#.
can you tell us the specified codes ?

sound like the headset profile is activated by that code...

I don't think it has another micorphone....one is enough

if you realy want you can read the flash without any risk and without open the phone...it is only an sw modification 99%

Hello,

Activating Spy Mode in 3310 and 8210 is different
To actiavte Spy Mode in 8210 i have to go in Infrared Menu twice
example 1st time i go in Infrared ( infrared is activated) 2nd time i go in infrared ( spy phone is activated

do you have any writing on the screen that will let you now what mode are you using ?

what I'm thinking is that the sw is modified and Headset profile is activated by menu but not displayed...

well he says when in spy mode the phone screen/lights are off...

all you want is headset mode with auto answer on, ringer set off..
you can find old "gsm secrets blah bla" james bond trick for 5110 etc (need to short out some pins on phone to activate headset mode, these days we can do this in software only).

maybe the "added" hardware is PIC? i have read about this in other forums..
personally i think this is software only, and even then its a pretty crap "mod" hehehe

only one pic processor, and if you want put one preamplifier for mic.
some information for dct3 phones
pic connected to pin2 of N400 (NMP70433)- chip enable, pin 5 of LCD- lcd enable, mbus of phone, pin10 in x200.
if pic detected number where is programed , deactivted N400 an LCD and opened conection, but not ring,light, and LCD not changed.
this is solution for spy phones. for dct4 is the same solution, onlu pins to connect pic not the same!!!!
