I presume that your 6070 been in the water or you made a little "snafoo" while soldering, am I right? :-)

Any how, I recommend you to reheat the upp with alot of flax.
Upp or the part that heats up (0.5A is alot of current ussually it's make heat in dameged areas of the pcb)

If this doesnt help, here's a technic that I found out when headset peaks 400mA and above and you want to pin point the area that heats up
1)Take a litlle of chewing gum, chew it
2)Turn on the pcb with power supply few times, and feel with your hand what part of it heats up.
3)Stick the chewed gum on the hot area of the pcb
4)turn the pcb few more times untill it heats up again.
5)Quickly remove the chewing gum from the pcb

then you will see that the gum stuck to the main sourse of the heat area. you can remove the pices of the stucked gum with flux cleaner sprey or Allcohol.
this technic can even pin point what part of the Bga commponent heats up.

6)Resolder that area with alot of flax, or even change it if you have the tools and the expiriense.

Good Luck
