Help With Nokia 3310

Good Morning Everybody.

I have nokia which was having low battery problem but network was OK. I replace PA with new one and now low battery problem is gone but network has gone. Network comes once when swiching ON the phone and then goes ane never comes back. I flashed the phone but still same. Even when network comes while switching ON, if we call, it says phone not in coverage.

I checked the connecting on Board around PA and all are OK.

Can someone please tell me what to do?

Thanks.

Thanks Sir BRKATHAVADIA for your help.

I put the good PA. Now when I Switch the Phone ON Network Comes and immediately the phone turns OFF. I tried again reflashing the phone and Update FAID but same thing, Phone turns OFF after Network is displayed. But if I do not insert sim, "INSERT SIM" message is displayed and phone does not switch OFF.

Sir what should I do now?

Sir I checked speaker pads with ground. There is no shorting with ground. I am getting around 490 ohms with ground.

Dear sir BRKATHAVADIA,

For a Nokia 3310, Battery do not last even for 1 day. I checked with new battery, same problem. I checked batteries in another working set and battery lasts for around 2 days.

I changed a good PA, PF, Flashed the phone but same problem. I cleaned the set with IPA but still same problem. I am getting around 392 ohms across the phone battery connector when I measured with a multimeter. This reading almost matches with the working phone.

Can you advice me what to do?

I removed PA, inserted a fully charged Battery and kept the phone switched ON. Then too the battery can not last even for one day. This means the problem seems not of PA, battery connector and even battery. Can someone please guide me what to check?

Check for heated components with your fingers or Temperature range of multimeter, than change it, and check for phone comsumption,
