Member: 84095 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | How to Change Cobba, Flashing IC, UEM I have problem on changing Cobba, Cause I had "Contact Service" on almost three 3310. I first tried to flash the phone but still "Contact Service" then I have rehot Cobba from the top and replaced it. The same "Contact Service" on the display. I tried it with the other two 3310 and all the same again. Maybe, I am making a mistake, and I haven't seen anyone changing such IC's. Could anyone explain step by step on "How to Change Cobba, Flashing IC, UEM". Does it make any damage on heating the board at the bottom when changing the Cobba or any other. Hope to get more explanation on this. |

Member: 71960 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | Abdul971, my friend abdul you ask about how to replacing bga ic's but i'm not going to tell u how to replace them(read old posts). anyway in your contact service cases u din't mention what is the flasher you use to flash your phones. in nokia dct-3 phones like your 3310 contact service apear in six(6) types(according to old posts).one of them is when u switch on phone, phone on normal and insert sim card appear then contact servise show in display.this one can fix griffine,prodigy,etc....the other is directly contact service show in disply.most of times you cannot repair this trouble by using above mentioned flashers.to repair second one you have to use deajan or that kind of flasher.directly contact servise mean most of times corrupt data in eeprom area.damage imei,etc...so you have to write eeprom and rewrite imei ,update faid,to solve your problem. i tell you above deatails according to my knolege b'cos i repairing 10-20 contact servise phones per month but i occationally replce cobba or flash ic to remove contact servise problem. so abdul tell what kind of flasher u use to flash fist... good luck. |

Member: 84095 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | When I power on the phone "Contact Service " appears. Actually I used Nokiaworkshop, and then tested with Eepromtool (there was a fail on Cobba Serial) Then used Nokiatool although IMEI was displayed. Then I realised there was a problem with Cobba and changed it. I know I making a mistake on replacing, that's why I need more explanation on replacing. If anyone has a pic please share it with us. |
