you will need bga work station

or if you are very steady then use a hotair unit and very good tweezers

hold the ic with tweezers, heat the ic, then remove it.

yes sure ,,,,i thin it will be ok for all BGA except COBBA ic i thik u know why.....u need to use reballing kit....

here is steps...
u need liquid flux,,,hot air with suitable temp and low air flow....twezars....spray cleaning,,,sheald.....
here is how to do it,,,

put liquid flux (u can use serang,,,or that used by doctor for injection)
hot ur BGA ic for 20 sec while u hold it with twezars and dont move it till u got it easy for removal.....

then
after remove it just clean pcb and use sheald and regulat hot ion to get balls celand and steady on board,,,then put flux again ....then hot ur pcb to got balls clear...
ten got ur NEW bga part and put it with right direction and check its right place with
1_ and _1 signs on board and then alow hot air with much flux and then u will get a new bga part.....
good luck!

Hi,

They could be diff size - its up to that the gap between the chip and the PCB will differ. This is related of the pitch.

Most important is that all balls have same size. For that you need
a simple tool kit, steady hand and patience
