How to unsolder glued UEM? - GSM-Forum

In some NOKIA models UEM's CPU's, in DCT3 models COBBA's and etc. are glued to pcb. Is there any solution to desolder clued parts? I've tryed to take it off using brute force , but it didn't worked out. AFAIK there is some fluid for removing that glue.

hi man,quick n best way

1st thing VERY important

PATIENCE

2->Little skill needed

remove bga head with scapel,wait for pcb to cool down, then remove EXCESS solder, n then Remove left over epoxy
it will KINDA FLAKE off,TAKES time, becarefull,otherwise U RIPP pads

take u time
keep well
bye
