Post Looking for 3210 and 3310 phone connectors.

Anybody from the Philippines know who sells phone connectors for 3210 and 3310? By money order or bank deposit only, I don't own a credit card. And please those who can be trusted (I already got conned for Php6,000 for ordering several phone connectors for Alcatel, Philips, Motorola, etc. for use with experiments for a universal cable).

I only want 2 pieces for each model, we don't have anyone here in Bacolod who sells even a 3210 datacable.

Please email me at [email protected].

Thanks.

Also:

I have a Motorola v2088 and its display dims then totally went off after a few seconds.

After turning it off and let it rest for a few days, display comes back again and again dims and went off. It can receive/make calls and even SMS, only there's no display.

Any idea?

Another display problem, with a 3210. Symptoms like that of the Motorola v2088: dims and display went off.

These phone have never experience any accidental drops.

Your help and info is much appreciated.

Best regards.

About the 3210 LCD, check if it has capacitors with them or not.

If not, then just clean the zebra connector (the rubberized one) with a contact cleaner.

If it is the one with capacitors in it, try to apply a little amount of heat (using soldering iron) on its contact points just to return its contact to the glass (LCD). After which, secure it with quickdrying adhesives (i.e. Mighty Bond).

regards,

aCe

Regarding the LCD dimming problem. As an addendum to azywerks advice... use a drop of flux (if you can get hold of it) on the capacitors on the LCD. Then use a soldering iron.

I can't get connectors but I can get datacables for you to get the connectors. Tell me what you need and I'll mail you the prices.

Hi ID,

No problem. But you have to cut connectors
by yourself from Datacable
.

Package will be sent tomorrow morning.

Thought I put some german beer attached but the way is a bit too long
