A strange problem with Nokia 3100 - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have two 3100 nokia handsets both have a similar problem. They have been apparently dropped and everything seems to be OK on the display. Network shows normal on the display(network bars move up and down like a normal phone as you move the cell). However if I try to make a call the call doesn't go thru. besides if I try to call on it I get a message that the cell is out of coverage or "not reachable ". Any of u guys faced this similar problem???????? plz help me with a solution. Will be obliged

Check PA with microscope,If any cracks on thae base of PA ,Change it .This might be the correct solution of you 3100

boss try to reset the unit to full factory. then observe. or reflow, reball or replace the PA, MJOLNER.

keep some packing {black color ,very soft tape u can get with a new casing of any set} on flash rom.ur problem will be solved.many 3100 i repared through this method. ajmal kiani +923334267030

u can also solve ur problem to give some very gentle heat to flash Rom for 2 to3 minutes. but with a lot of care because it,s a very risky.after doing many sets dead u will find the actual methd
