Also check the keypad board and tracks.

sure that is keypad ic
i have same problem, replace morethan 3ic and solve that prblm
{select the high resistance in multimeter and chk the contineuty on keypad connector }

it is not keypad ic . I have changed 3 to 4 new ics. i have checked the tracks then that is not getting ohms. i think this track comes from omap.

i also have the same issue with nokia 6680 ...4 key and call disconect key not working...changed the keypad ic thrice still problem not gone...help me out.....

Try to change r2001 comp, the function of this comp is change audio inside to auricular audio + call disable. it is an attempt

i had similar problem, i change 2 keypad IC and a new keyboard, the 4 keys still not working, change the keypad connector and problem had solve or alternate ways is to do a jumper from the keypad connector to the keyboard connector.
