N70 Water Damaged - GSM-Forum

How would i go about repairing this?

1st what you should do, clean the phones pcb with alcohol
disassemble the phone and remove all spare parts (display, buzzer, ..)
take the pcb into a bowl filled with alcohol (>95%, no spirit!) and addiotionally softly brush it with a teeth-brush e.g.
leave the pcb at least 1-2 days in alcohol and after that dry...

is this correct the phone still powers!

Yes i think so i had a 6230i when they came out and droped it down the bog (pissed) i took it to my mate who has a shop and he did the same or something like this because all i rember him saying is something abought alcohol
