Fuse Alternative???

Most of mobile repair techs. repair fuse problem by shortening its two points, which later on result in unrepairable charging problem specialy in Nokia phones. I try to replace fuse from some dead board instead of shortening the points but the problem is there is no specification of fuse and fuse of this size also not available in market.
Is there any alternative of fuse, any resistance of?? etc present in mobile boards or anyother alternative solution of fuse?? anyone can suggest??

capri seems right. Use wire from headphones. but it consists of many coated wires. use match fire just for half second(otherwise it will melt) to remove outer coat, dont coat it with tin.(use sigle wire)
