N70 white screen, show nokia !!!! - GSM-Forum

i have a n70 that sometimes show nokia ; after that white screen and sometimes colors in screen ,; and the phone work correctly ; call and receive , ringtone etc .
i try to change the screen but the same problem sometimes work and sometimes nothing .
any solution thx

exactly the same problem here, please help !!!

clean the connecter or change if u find any type of blackish or rust type spot .if it remains same then rehot or change display ic ur problem will be solve.

if u change display ic, check display and display connect

replace display ic & resolder & clean display conn..do post result

replaced display - the same error
cleaned connector - the same error
reheated display IC - the same error

how and where to replace display IC?

Your problem is 90 percent abnormal display...
Hints: Check the phone clock halt(8800), u find any corrosion?
By checking this part, if there is corrossion, most cases is lcd ic (4403) had fail... rework this parts (most of the time this part itself is working but the balls under the part is affect by corrosion)

search for display ic diagram from forum. remove same and replace with another one. but u have to do it carefull.
