n95 black screen only when slider is closed

hi all,
i have n95 4 monthes old, never fell, dry and all.
a few days ago i've noticed that when the slider is closed [normal position] the screen is black, i can get a call and it's vibreting and flashing but i can't see the number... if the slider is open to one of the sides it's ok, but if i close it again the screen hangs for a few seconds and than going black again...

i did a firmware upgrade and nothing... same same.

any help would be appreciated.
