Member: 1490299 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 20 | before you reheat the mic module you need to resolder under mic module put led then after that mildly reheat mic NOTE: don't put a flux dont forget the mic module of 53410express is very sensitive. post the result... |

Member: 405730 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 184 | here is the tip that might help you before you reheat the digital mic module put some cover on it,you can use keypad mat as a cover but before that, you may put a bit of double sided tape between keypad mat & mic module, so that it would be stable like this |

Member: 2878 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9,123 | forget about all the tips before it works very easy with just a cheap hotair... 1.) desolder old mic 2.) clean contact pads and resloder cleaned pads (not to mutch, not to less) 3.) see on back side of the mainboard, if there is something like connectors (you have clean backside with no connectors on 5310 board), then use some tape to save it from heat. 4.) now use some flux or soldering paste and fix the new mic on right place. 5.) begin now ON BACK SIDE of mainboard to heat the position where the mic is on other side... 5.) now you will see, the mic will fix it self on right place and you have won! its realy the eaysest way... try this way and you will no more demage any mic... but be cearfull when there are some components on backside... its no problem when there are some capacitors or resistors, ic´s ... thats all no problem... you even dont need to save it from head... but be cearfull on plastic parts... this parts need to be removed first if you work with hotair in with my technic by heating from backside of pcb. good luck! wbr. hari ps: @ralel i need to test your tip on boards where many components on backside... looks also good working.. i teached my methode many technicans and they have 100% success with my methode, because its very easy when no components on backside of pcb. more info instead of heating the PCB at the backside im using this method for almost 5years and all is working by this method there no other components would be damage like 2 keypad/UI ic & keypad connector which is placed on the pcb back side | |
