need help with strang 3100 ringer problem - GSM-Forum

i have 3100 with ringer problem
when i torn on the phone cant here sound,just littel beep
when recieving call no ring
but - when i open the gallery menu and brows the sounds
i can here the ringer working

how can i fix that???

It seems to be a software probelm ; try to flash te phone with the latest firmware.

with what version did you flash it ?
and with what software...?

The problem you described is a software problem (you the ringer works when you brouse the galery it means that there is nothing wrong with the hardware part)

i flashed it with GRIFFIN version 5.91 it was 5.54 before i flashed

try to flash agian then rewrite the pm file

if you did reflash it including mcu+ppm+pm than change audio IC (it is a verry small IC under the UEM near the chargind diode)

If this doesn`t help reflow the CPU

if your problem is with very low ring try first to change poliphonick buzzer and check PCB contacts and components near them if nothin must to change small black audio IC

replace'd the IC still same problem, maybe i didnt solder it good

Hello guys,why must you give up,you keep on trying it.When you browse through the gallery and the phone rang out it 's not a hardware fault.Before flashing you should have done a phone FACTORY RESET.

nokia 3100 ring sound first time i canect near parts .i changed a buzzer.but same problem but my buzzer is ok .now what can my do .plz help me

if your speaker works correctly and buzzer don't works: it z a Hardware problem

if ur speaker and buzzer dont works %100 software problem

u can find buzzer jumpering with search button.
