i faced a strange problem with nokia n97
when i insert the battery the phone goes on and write nokia on the screen and the bar of charging appeared

notes ( i have removed the charging socket & changed the two ics near sim connector removed the fuse and checked the board no short found& changed d3300 controller of usb connector & changed the betty ic at final & checked the upper side of the phone and it all ok )
4 argent i need full sol

im searching for anew sol all over the net and didnt find an answer

if any body have a little idea we can discuss it here

Bro its easy just change ur changing ic.betty 100% ok.

I have the same problem in N97, please, can you explain where find this part and how have desolder this?, i not think is possible whith Hot air or yes?, please can you explain how have done?, thank you

I have searched this IC for Battery Charge in alls part, but not find this IC, everybody can conseje to me where i can buy this IC?, and another question, i not have Infrared, but only Station whith Hot air, is possible desolder this IC whith Hot Hair Station?, thank you for the aswered,

u can get this ic n33301 from many nokia handsets like e52,n97 mini ,n8,n86...

u can replace this ic with smd rework station...

Hi... I would like to know if this solve usb pc problem..Because I have a piece, that sometimes charge sometimes not, I have to move usb cable to find a position, and same with usb and pc, sometings doesn't recognize the phone...
