network problems


it works fine on one network but on other it doesnt!!! it connects to all, sohws full zone ... just busy network when you try to call..

Check SIM card again, try to use another once.

my sim card should be fine, it was on 8390, but on my 8890 nokia.. rogers told me, it could be becuase the phone is selected on one band, and not auto or somehitng like that.

If i place a ROGERS sim card in the phone, i would get a busy network error, but if i place a fido sim card in the phone, I would work just fine. Now that FIDO swaped to rogers networks, i get the busy network problem.

8390 only have 1 band: 1900Mhz,
8890 have 2 bands: 900/1900Mhz.
