New STRANGE problem with Nokia 6230i - GSM-Forum

I have a new 6230i and one big problem !

When camera is started the display doesn't display preview image (only background) but I can make photos (the picture is visible after saving).

With this problem comes another one , the video 3gp can not be played.

The solution I've found for those problems was a simple one... I've changed LCD and all was Ok after that !

I've heard that 6230 does that too but I haven't seen one by now but is possible to have the same solution.

Please write here about this strange problem if you solve it or not...

yes that correct,you need to change lcd and prob solved.works 10000% on 6230i by me many times.

I had this problem with 6230, solved without LCD change.

1. Full erase the phone with "rh12_full_erase.bin", then with "rh12_user_erase.bin" as PPM
2. Flash MCU+PPM+CNT
3. Upload PM
4. Restart
5. Init simlock
6. Do full factory reset
7. Format user area

So this mobile has no preview ! if u take photo you have to wait untill it shows photo on screen ! other way u can take photo of ur *****

photo recording and reading of course is lazy also ! delay in video recording, give u delay in reading elementary !

i flashed with mcu+ppm+cnt after ui and all resetting ! same problem

with nbox i make ERASE ! WITH mobile connected i put local mode + power on mobile, and click on flash again (mcu+ppm+cnt)............ choose local mode and ui setting all checked = same problem !

no same peopole said it's flash = it's not flash problem ! it's hardware problem = camera or physical problem but which one ?????

becarefull : if you put erase don't disconnect mobile and when it's finish choose local mode and power on mobile (if the mobile is not powering on, look at the software if local mode is entered or not if ok, don't care if mobile is powering on or not ! just click on start (it will start flashing... it's shows erasing.....) leave the mobile connect until the procedure finish and local mode + power on button and ui setting cheched !)
