No signal at gsm1800 - GSM-Forum

Hi
I have a nokia 3510.
The phone works fine with gsm 900 networks but when i insert a simcard gsm1800 the phone does not transmit at all.
I am sure about the P.A. it works fine but i get no signal at 1800.
What should i do now? i have also upgraded the phone

I have downloaded 4 times the service manual and it is just level 2.
I don't have the schematics
