Nokia 1208 Blank Screen when turned on - GSM-Forum

Hello,

A few years ago my Nokia 1208 was dropped. Soon afterwards, it would not turn on, when turned on it just shows a blank screen, as shown in the picture.

It then can't be turned off by holding down the red button, the only way to turn it off is to leave it for the battery to go flat or take the battery out.

I would like to attempt to fix it, but I know nothing about phone hardware and I have tried to find out what the problem is but to no avail.

Does anyone know what is wrong with itif it could be fixed, and if so how?

hi , this is quite old thread . anyway you may find lots of threads here in our forum regarding your phone issue , try to search .

as you mention before that you don't know anything about hardware repair so I advice you to contact any mobile service person to repair your set.
