There is No Keypad IC in 3120 mate. Try to read schematic.

3120 keypad hangs

3120 keypad hangs can be caused by
on/off switch also so please check the
on/off switch also some time some leke
in switch or shorting in swith can cause
this keypad hang problem i have solved
it.
