Member: 1750832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Nokia 3210 Charging Problem When I charge the phone battery it hardly lasts a day, and it is a completely new battery and charger. If I plug in the charger with the phone off, the charging symbol is displayed with the animated battery strength bars on screen which indicates that it is charging. However once it think that the battery is full, it only lasts up to 12 hours before depleting. Any ideas? It's not the standard not charging problem, but it's not seemingly holding a full charge. Also, I just put it on charge again after being told "Battery is empty", and after maybe 5 minutes it now thinks the battery is full again. Any help would be great, thank you!! |

Member: 1750832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | After turning the phone off and on again, I just got the "Battery is not charging" message, so maybe it is a similar problem to others. Can I please get a step by step help with soldering what I need to solder etc as I am completely clueless about what I need to do to solve this? Thanks! |

Member: 1750832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | It could be the battery yes. It's a copy one, not an original nokia battery. I'm not sure whether it's worth paying 20+ pounds for an official nokia one to find I have the same problem though, seeing as I only paid 10 pounds for the phone to begin with. Also when charging the phone light comes on and off in different intervals. Which makes me think it is something to do with connections. I might have to bu y a torx 6 screwdriver and have a look inside at the battery connectors. |

Member: 1750832 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | In anyone's opinion, would this not be a solder/thermistor problem as the phone does display the icon to indicate that the battery is charging? Would it be more likely that it is the battery itself that is the problem, and I should try getting an official nokia battery and seeing if the problem persists? Thanks |
