NOKIA 3230 when Insert the battery LCD display white light but phone is working fine - GSM-Forum

Sirm,
When I insert the battery in NOKIA 3230 (RM-51) the lcd screen comes white and when I switch on the phone is working fine.
When Trying to switch off this phone the switch button is not working.
tell me how to solve the problem I have use UI settings and clean the PCB, but no solution.
please help me.

there a little short at ic light clean it, or replace ic light......

Yes I agree with Mr. capri.but shortage could be in another area.
check all the unit with a lot of care about water damage.
and post results.

Thanks sir,
I have clean the PCB and now there is no short circuit. but now when I insert the battery the phone is automatically switched on and the power switch is not working, phone also woriking properly after automatic switch on. I am sure that there is no short circuit in PCB. Tell me whats worng with this,

There is still shortage but very minor.
now check the edges of all the ic,s.
some water is still there and the golden color of ic,s might be in black color,due to of water.
especially check with the help of glass.
due to of that water some points r short and creating problem.
check and post results.

try to clean UI Board connector. That at left side from main board. i try this many times and works 100%.
if you sure that connector is clean and ok. thats UPP problem. i was have a problem like that and change UPP. Phone works 100%

clean fully connector ... if problem still sames replace a new *uiboard* best regards

yes I also agree with capri there is a minor shortage still , so clean the pcb deeply or replace ui board & check

brother u have choosen wrong section for ur problem.
use sonyericsson section.
anyhow u have to unlock it.
