i have a nokia 3310 that was given to me by a customer and it has no network but i changed the (antenna switch & the pa )but it now displays (000 00) ......instead of showing the network name .......please what should i do......

alright guy i will change the hager ,.......please i only have a rework station can i use it to remove the hager .....and can i use it to replace it back.

U Can Use Rework Station D Pends On Ur Cleverness]

U will need to remove it carefully so u don't damage the tracks. Then u have to reball the IC and fit it on the PCB. If it doesn't work, change the hagar. Good luck!

please guys how do i do this reballing of a thing and after i reball can i still fix it with my rework station..........

check vco because this maybe hagar is bad or vco is not work and you have on netmonitor ntfs

@segun,

U can do reballing with ur rework station, reballing paste and the correct stencils. Do a search on the forum for old posts on reballing. There's one that gives step by step instructions. Good luck!

@ZetMen,

If u could post meanings of netmonitor for network problems, it'd be most helpful. DOn't forget to mention which menu. Is it possible to use it with DCT4 phones, and if yes, how?

hello I have problem with nokia 2100 if I call the phone go off by him salf and I change the pf but the problem stil same thing

Here is a no network way of diagnostic:

Run a test with Eeprom tools 3.1 and 4.0 this gives a point
next its important if the test is good and no network, I mean phone cant even see it next steps:
Put SIM card, power on, dial a service number and put phone close to a turned on radio /close to the antena/ if there is a conection with network U will here "puk, puk, puk, puk/ if U dont hear it this solves the problem in most cases
1. Reheat CCONT-> check phone
2.Reheat COBBA -> check phone
3.Reheat HAGAR-> check phone
If there is network but cant make a call this is PA- U will not hear puk puk puk on radio test..
Tip..HAGAR is a DSP processor the phone is registering with network with it
But in nokia phones /DCT3/ problems are mostly around CCONT and COBBA

check the capacitor resistor and transistor around cobba haggar and RF. do a optomistic checking.

netmonitor test 01
first you have chananel then Rxlevel then TX Power
if you have activate netmonitor put 01 test and put on keyboard * for1-2 sek you will be have help what is what. If you dont have rx that check hagar and vco, and first try to change diplexer (antena switch) or do line in 900 mHz and check that you have rx if you have and you cannot call change PA if not try to rehot coba,ccont and then if not call change coba

and flash,faid i it should be work.
