i have a 5310b from usa(850/1900mhz)

can i convert it in to 5310 (900/1800mhz) by software only? i saw such thread in below link

NO.
No need to do anything at hardware. Just flash with 5310 flash files write bandchange rpl and Unlock phone. Tested solution. Use serch button to find Bandchange rpl.

no need to flash
first unlock the set and write 5310b blank rpl with jaf or mx key
u can find all blank rpl in mx key sticky section
