Nokia 5210 freezing
 

On power on this Nokia displays the usual block screen then blank. the LEDs stay on but no keys work.Cannot even be switched off. Is this hardware or soft and how to repair??

-1. It may be in "contact service" so, it's on good place i hope:)
You should check it on Wintesla, or eeprom tools, sou you get reason for CS if any.
-2. Badly soldered CPU/or bad CPU by it self.
-3. Same for combo flash.

Try writing good full backup fron working phone first.

maybe ~30 KHz crystal, if its damaged, phone freezes, or starts very slow (VERY)...

tried but phone cannot connect by cable to computer to use wintesla or any other tools. Must be some hardware failure maybe??

maybe you had to change the cpu

in 5210 is always the CPU try joins, just put some flux around and reflow the CPU.. will works , i fixed them all the times..
