U should just ask not complain man!
We are not raising posts just tell people that the solution is fine and works and I actually use thanks button too what others forget many times.
There is a little crystal filter just next to the lcd socket/clip so that needs to be replaced or just resoldered.

Hi everyone hows got a similar prob.
Firstly we are talking about all the buttons not just send menu and red.
Now I can confirm that that ic is not for the buttons of course.
Today had to play alot with a 5800 to find out about buttons cos non of them worked.
Tried resolder/change the lcd filter/ic and everything but no luck.
Couldn`t find a good diagram/shematics for it,what I found couldn`t just search in it properly for some reason.
So decided to resolder few parts at the top of the board and now it`s working fine.
Before I fixed one just by resoldering that ic and it worked only cos the heat goes on board so the parts close to it been heated a little that`s why it worked not cos that filter/ic for the buttons.
Would like to ask someone to put a diagram/shcematic about the button ways please just to know exactly where they go.

Thnx
