Nokia 6100 deep reset - GSM-Forum

Hi!
I got a small problem with my 6100 (V .6.01, NPL-2). It freezez all the time for example if youre typing an sms, or just pushing buttons. All freezez and after few seconds display turns black for 4-5 seconds. After that picture comes back but all you've entered (sms, numbers) are gone and picture is not in the menu or in used application but is like on main screen where the operator logo is.
I figured that maybe deep reset would help me but finded solutions for that were unhelpful (phone off-*+green calling button+3-phone on, *#7370#).
Can sombodey give me better solution or is the only one flashing?

hardware problem...Reflow UPP (D400) and UEM(D200 if is not glued).

Could you possibly explain me little bit more i'm not familiar with those terms you were refferring (Reflow UPP (D400) and UEM (D200))

Reflow means to use specific tool using hot air to melt contacts.
Here there are these two IC's : UEM and UPP. If you don't have tools, contact any GSM service. They will help you.
