Nokia 6230 (change speaker driver)
 

Hi

I've got a Nokai 6230 that doesn't play any audio using the loudspeaker. I've checked the loudspeaker with another phone and it works. I've read on other threads that the problem can be resolved by change speaker driver. How is this done??? (images, etc will be useful)

hi just do a search on 6230 in the repair section for nokia and you will find plenty of pictures which will show you where the i/c is.

you can just use a rework station to rehot it first. small chance but its worked for me before.

when you hot it, just get tweezers and bump it very gently to one side. but dont push it off the balls.

if this doesnt work - then definately have to replace i/c.
