I have nokia 6230 (RH-12) Its have ring problem. when play any mp3 its play very clear without any problem but when that mp3 set as ring tone its not respond only showing the number. but genuine ringtones are okey as ringtones.

Flash it complete
Change Sound ic

But problem is still there is there any other way to repair this set ???????????????????????????????????????

up last SW(5.50) version and try again,try up mp3 in mmc card and set any sound for rington-ok - check small flash ic(nand)

ur problem in ur mmc change it

do nokia 6230 support mp3 as a ringtone check it clearly and try with amr files
